FlexDash ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by TechBuildDreams LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the FlexDash mobile application and website (flexdash.app).
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Name and email address (when you create an account)
- Authentication data via Firebase Authentication
Location Data
- GPS coordinates — collected during active mileage tracking to calculate distance driven
- Background location — used for automatic trip detection (when enabled by you)
- Home location — stored locally on your device for geofencing (auto-start/stop tracking)
- We do NOT track your location when you are not using the mileage tracking feature
Financial & Work Data
- Delivery block details (dates, times, stations, earnings) — entered by you or extracted from screenshots
- Expense records (gas, tolls, maintenance) — entered by you
- Mileage logs — recorded via GPS or manual entry
- Delay reports — GPS coordinates, timestamps, photos, and notes you provide
Device & Usage Data
- Device type, operating system version
- App usage patterns (anonymized)
- Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)
Photos
- Screenshots of earnings pages — processed by AI (Google Gemini) for data extraction, not stored permanently
- Receipt photos — stored in your account for expense tracking
- Delay report photos — stored as evidence for your defense reports
2. How We Use Your Information
- Mileage tracking — GPS data is used solely to calculate miles driven for tax deduction purposes
- Tax reports — your data generates IRS-compliant mileage logs and expense reports
- AI processing — screenshots are sent to Google Gemini API for data extraction, then discarded
- Community features — gas prices are aggregated anonymously by zip code
- Toll detection — GPS coordinates are compared against toll plaza locations during tracking
- Defense reports — delay data is organized into PDF reports at your request
- Account protection — we never share your data with Amazon, DoorDash, or any gig platform
3. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit
- Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security
- Photos are stored in Firebase Storage with access restricted to your account
- We use HTTPS for all data transmission
- Your data is stored in US-based data centers
4. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Google Firebase — cloud infrastructure and authentication
- Google Gemini API — screenshot processing (images are not retained by Google)
- RevenueCat — subscription management (receives only purchase data)
- Community data — gas prices are shared anonymously (no personal info attached)
We will never share your earnings, mileage, or delivery data with any gig platform company.

- Access — you can export all your data at any time (CSV or PDF)
- Delete — you can delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Opt-out — you can disable location tracking, auto-detect, and community features at any time
- California residents (CCPA) — you have the right to know what data we collect and request deletion
- EU residents (GDPR) — you have the right to data portability, erasure, and to withdraw consent

FlexDash is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
